What is our Design & Drafting Process?
The process kicks off with a consultation, during which the client's vision and project requirements are discussed. On-site measurements and photos are taken as needed. The transition from ideas to reality involves the creation of coloured floor plans and 3D perspective views, keeping clients engaged throughout the design phase.
Each division contributes its expertise to produce scaled drawings with construction details, incorporating code reviews, truss concepts, and electrical layouts. Energy efficiency calculations are provided when necessary. Stone & Sky facilitates last-minute revisions before the final drawings are sealed by an engineer, ready for permit submission, and quote gathering.
Stone & Sky ensures clients have access to sealed structural drawings encompassing various materials like concrete, rebar, and steel beams. Project types span a broad spectrum, including commercial, cultural/recreational, educational, health, multi-residential, office, and tenant improvement.
